“The location and the house are quintessential BHI - cozy, inviting and “perfect” in a shabby chic way. The best part of the house IMO is the large open kitchen-dining-living area with couches and chairs that eat you up and create the perfect place to unwind with a book and glass of wine after a day trekking around the island. The porches are fabulous for watching the sunrise, sunset and everything in between. Should you decide to go to the beach, just walk right out the back door and you’re maybe 100 feet from the sand dunes. Highly recommend coming here to unwind and return to a peaceful bliss, whether with friends, family or even just solo. It’s truly a wonderful beachy oasis. Bis Bald!”

“We have been coming to Bald Head Island for 27 years. We discovered it when our girls were little. We had no idea that they would love it as much as we do, but they do, and still want BHI to be our family vacation spot every summer. As our family grew, we needed a larger house to rent. We found [formerly named] Time to Unwynd, and fell in love with the house! It is located in the center of the island which is very appealing to us. You have an ocean view on the front of the house. You forget about all of your worries when you are sitting on the front porch in a rocking chair looking at the beach. It is pure bliss! The house is very spacious. It has all the amenities you need while you are there. It is so nice to have 2 golf carts, especially when some people in the house want to do something different than others. Time to Unwynd was recently sold. We are so lucky that the new owners have continued to let us rent. They have been so easy to deal with, and respond to you immediately if you have a question while you are staying in the house or before you rent. We couldn’t ask for a better house to rent or better homeowners from whom to rent. We highly recommend renting ‘Bis Bald!’ and falling in love with Bald Head Island!”

“Beautiful house. Everything we needed was there. The upstairs master bedroom had a view of the ocean. Beds were comfortable. Furniture was comfortable as well. There were games and puzzles to keep everyone entertained on rainy nights. There is a nice screened in porch as well as an open outdoor sitting area. Easy walk to the beach on a nice walkway. Only inconvenience was having to move larger golf cart out to get small one out. But that was only a small issue. I would definitely stay here again.”
